Our Stories

We believe that it is not our money, status, good looks, popularity, or physical condition that gives us value. It does not matter what type of life, if it is an unborn child in the womb, a disabled person, or an elderly person. Just as a painting is made valuable by the artist who produced it, we know that we have value because the God of the universe created us. We know this because the bible tells us in Genesis 1:27 - So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. He also states in Genesis 1:31 - God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.

Proud Family
Richard, Jeremy, and Joanne
After two miscarriages, we were blessed with our little miracle, Jeremy Richard, on October 16, 2008. Two of his cousins were born within 24 hours of him at the same hospital! We are now expecting our second baby boy in July and have recently learned he has Down's Syndrome. Our church family will be a wonderful support, and we look forward to the blessings God has in store for us with our new little one.

Loving Family
Cody & Jeremy
Cody (left),3, has Down Syndrome and had heart surgery when he was 3 months old! He has taught us love and compassion. Jeremy(right), 4, also brings us a lot of joy in our lives. They are both loving boys and Mommy and Daddy (Richard & Joanne Hintz) are proud parents. The picture was taken by our sister in law, Kristin, and it really captures the love that the two brothers have for each other.

James
James
Just weeks before James was ushered into heaven we had a celebration of his life. Every time someone would visit him he would ask 'Where is the cerveza?' So one day we decided to bring him his cerveza and some other of his favorite foods. In the last stages of Parkensons disease and confined to his bed he was a witness to his family.

This picture is five generations. It is important to us as it shows all God's children from birth to old age.
